• Rock River Flyers is a non-profit organization started by the State of Illinois.
• Members flying skills range from student through highly skilled pilots.
• A board of directors and officers meet bi-monthly on the first monday of even months.
• An Aeronca 7AC “Champ” (two seats, tandem seating) is available at the Ogle County airport for training purposes. The Champ is capable of extended cross-country flights.
• All RRF Members are required to be members of the Ogle County Pilots, Inc. (OCPI)
Learn To Fly!
The Rock River Flyers (RRF), located at the Ogle County Airport offer flying lessons to new flyers and “rusty” pilots. With our experienced instructor, the Rock River Flyers also provide tail wheel endorsements, flight reviews, and introductory flights. For kids ages 8-17 years of age the EAA Young Eagles Program allows kids experience the joy of flight.
