Hangars

The Ogle County Airport may be small, but it has a lot of different features to offer to its members and guests. On the airport grounds, there are three rows of hangars. The first row, known as the “A” row consists of several “t” hangars. The second row, or the “B” row, consists of four large hangars that face the grass runway. A new hangar recently built has started the third row, also known as the “C” row.

There are sites available for building private hangars.  The land is leased from OCPI and the builder owns the hangar with a 50 year lease with a 50 year extension.  Certain restrictions apply to the builder and he must conform to standard building codes.

On the east side of the airport private developer has five acre lots for sale.  These are intended for building a home with an attached (or close to) hangar and the prices is much more modest than anything to the east of the Rock River.
